National Health Leaders Join Limeade Alliance Program

Leading health systems, brokers, and wellness companies
now offer Limeade service

BELLEVUE, Wash., October 9, 2008 – Limeade, Inc., an employee wellness company, today announced that 10 market leading companies have joined its Alliance Program, including the Cleveland Clinic, Alliance Work Partners, and Kibble & Prentice, a USI company.

Limeade is an online employee wellness service designed to measure and improve all of the key drivers of well-being, productivity and health. It spans all personal, work and health-related factors affecting employee vitality. Its evidence-based approach was founded on research and insight from global leaders in preventive health, psychology and human capital management. The Limeade Alliance Program is designed to help industry leaders deliver game-changing prevention and productivity improvement services to companies facing spiraling health costs and increasing global competition.

“Limeade is designed for companies who need to measure and improve all the key drivers of productivity, including but not limited to chronic medical conditions or health risks.” said Henry Albrecht, Limeade’s founder and CEO. “Now we’ve joined forces with industry leaders on the front lines of employee benefits delivery to create happy, healthy and high-performance people and companies.”

Limeade cohesively integrates other employer-sponsored health and wellness services, including health and behavioral coaching, biometric screening, and disease management. Unlike other wellness products, Limeade is a modular and open system, allowing its Alliance partners to design winning solutions that include their own proprietary services and other best-in-breed offerings.

“We’re always looking for innovative ways to drive measurable change,” said Chris Prentice, President of Kibble & Prentice, a leading insurance, risk management consulting and employee benefits firm in the Pacific Northwest. “We chose Limeade because they are rooted in both hard evidence and user-driven software innovation.  In today’s economy everyone is looking for the edge Limeade provides.”

“Limeade will improve client retention and drive new business opportunities,” added Alliance Work Partners’ Vice President Rick Dielman.  “We looked at every major player and chose Limeade for its team, its science and its flexibility.”

Among the key features of Limeade are a proprietary 360-degree well-being, productivity and health assessment, goal tracking (online, via phone, email, and other tracking gadgets), incentive management, community and social features, personalized connections to other wellness resources, and dashboards to help employers gain insight into their overall profit drivers.
